1. Why would I buy from Regal Caskets instead of a funeral home?

2. Am I allowed to buy a casket online?

Yes, the process is simple; you choose your casket, and we will deliver to the funeral home you select. It is illegal for a funeral provider to deny your right to supply your own casket or charge you a fee associated with delivery or handling. You may also have your casket delivered to a residential address or storage facility. 

3. Are your products the same quality as what I would buy from a funeral home?

We guarantee that our products are on-par or better than what you will see at a funeral home. You may see strikingly similar caskets and coffins to ours in funeral homes, because many funeral homes purchase our products as well. Respected names such as Batesville Services Inc., and Matthews Casket Company Inc. are comparable to our caskets and coffins.

4. Do funeral homes allow me to supply my own casket?

Under the FTC’s Funeral Rule, consumers have a right to provide a casket purchased outside a funeral home without penalty, and a funeral provider cannot charge a "casket handling fee" if you do so.

5. When will the casket arrive?

Almost all our caskets ship one business day after an order is received, and our included ground shipping typically delivers within 2-6 business days. If we cannot deliver by the day the casket is needed we will not sell one to you. If you require more rapid delivery, we can arrange expedited shipping for an additional fee.

6. Can I purchase a casket now and have it delivered months or years later (pre-planning)?

Yes. With the cost of goods ever increasing, you can buy a casket now at the lowest price, remove the burden from yourself and loved ones later, and have it delivered when needed. Simply purchase any product from Regal Caskets and note in the checkout that you are pre-planning. We will provide you a contract so you can redeem your purchase later.

7. Do I need to be present at the funeral home to receive a casket?

We recommend that you are, but you do not have to be there. Refusal of a funeral provider to sign an acknowledgement of delivery of a third-party casket is a violation of Section 453.4(b)(1) of the FTC Funeral Rule, and unreasonably burdens a consumer’s right to provide their own casket. If you elect for residential delivery our shipping carrier will call you to schedule an appointment at which you must provide an acceptance signature.

8. What size casket do I need?

The interior of our standard size caskets are 24" wide and fit most adults up to 6'10" and 300 pounds. We recommend confirming sizing with your funeral provider who will be happy to help. If you need a larger accommodation, our oversize caskets range from exterior widths of 28" to 44".  Our standard size caskets are 24-inches wide interior, and fit most adults up to 6’10” and 300 pounds. 

9. Does the casket I ordered have everything I need in it? Do I need to buy a pillow or throw separately?

Our caskets come fully assembled and furnished for your loved one. The necessary pillow, adjustable bed, and throw covers are included.

10. How much is shipping? 

It is fast and free. If you have a special request such as rush shipping, contact us so we can accommodate. 

11. How do I place my order?

Purchasing a casket from us is identical to any online shopping. Simply go with the flow, and we will have everything we need to fulfill your order. If we have any questions, we will contact you. As always, you can contact us if you need assistance.

12. What are my payment options? Can I pay with life insurance?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as third party payment processors such as PayPal. You may also finance your purchase with Affirm by clicking "Pay with Affirm" on the payment page.

13. What happens after I place my order?

Once you place your order, you will receive confirmation immediately with tracking information to follow once it is shipped. If you are pre-planning, you will also receive confirmation immediately and a contract from us shortly after. If any details need confirmation, we will call you to discuss. 14. What happens if my order arrives damaged or late?

Your order is both special to you and us, so we try our best to deliver on time and flawless. In the very unlikely case of damage to your order, please refuse delivery and take photos if you can. We will either ship a replacement right away or refund you in full. As many orders are time sensitive, we constantly track our shipments to resolve delays. Should your order be delayed for any reason and does not arrive in time for use, we will accept a return for a full refund.
